This beautiful Coffee Table Book by Furaha Bishota, Founder and Owner of COCOLILI pays homage to the 13 collections the brand released between November 2016 and November 2021.
The book was illustrated by Phoebe Ouma, a young talented and renowned Kenyan Illustrator, and offers a glimpse into the inspiration behind all COCOLILI designs. Furaha chose to use illustrations to tell the brands story because she felt that if one is able to associate a print with a fun image, they are more likely to remember it. This coffee table book serves as the visual documentation of COCOLILI, a print-driven, vibrant and proudly African brand.
Furaha believes that by telling the COCOLILI Story, it will not only imprint a legacy in African fashion but it will inspire and encourage other creatives and entrepreneurs on the continent to document their creative journeys and to tell their stories. All work of art has a story to tell and each body of work is valuable and worthy of a story.
